Withdrawal syndrome
If a person who is physically dependent on methamphetamine abruptly stops using it, the withdrawal symptoms may include (National Institute on Drug Abuse):
– Intense craving for methamphetamine
– Fatigue
– Severe depression, dysphoria, anxiety
– Sleep disturbances
– Agitation or psychomotor retardation
– increased appetite
– Psychosis.
