The BEST apps related to mental health

As the ad says, There’s an app for it!

“Apps” on smartphones have become a very useful tool for so many purposes. Not surprisingly, some apps can be very useful for both:

– Mental health clinicians like us

– Persons with mental health problems and/or their loved ones

But, as in many things, the problem is that there are too many apps. Having too many options is NOT a good thing–it leads to indecision and inaction. Giving anyone a list of ten or twenty apps that could be used for a particular purpose is NOT helpful.

So, we are reviewing apps for you on an ongoing basis and listing below those that we think are the very best ones for particular purposes.
