Antidepressants can injure the liver, some more than others

Question from a Member: I’m treating a young man. I did not check his liver function tests, but about three weeks ago, I started him on fluoxetine and olanzapine. Later, when laboratory tests were done, he was discovered to have quite high AST/ALT. I’m wondering if this is a response to the new medication but…
