Let’s be honest. As mental health clinicians, we received very little training about how to evaluate and treat adults with ADHD (attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder). We want to be more effective in helping these patients, but we have limited time and so many things we want to learn more about.
Do you wish that there were ONE book of manageable size that you could buy and read little by little to learn about the many different interventions that can help adults with ADHD?
A book that discussed medications, of course, but also helped you to quickly learn how to do coaching, cognitive-behavior therapy, and family education to help adults with ADHD?
For this purpose, I have selected an excellent book that I have read and recommend to other clinicians:
by Ari Tuckman
For those who want to do more, I have also selected two other excellent books that focus on cognitive-behavior therapy for adult ADHD.
by Mary V. Solanto
by Steven A. Safren, Susan E. Sprich, Carol A. Perlman, Michael W. Otto
