Clinicians need recommendations for simple books that can help them learn how to read, understand, and interpret clinically-relevant research literature in order to practice what is called Evidence Based Medicine (EBM).


This famous book comes in two versions: a a briefer one called “Essentials” and the original, more detailed one.

Here’s another great book on how to read a paper, called (surprisingly) “How to read a paper.” It is also a classic. If a book is in its fifth edition, I guess it can be called a classic!
