Electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) and medication levels

When tobacco or cannabis are smoked, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons contained in that smoke induce the cytochrome P450 1A2 enzyme. The activity of this enzyme is significantly increased in about two or three weeks as the liver produces more of it.
