The Clinical Pharmacogenetics Implementation Consortium (CPIC®) is a very important resource for clinicians for guidance on how to use pharmacogenetic information in clinical practice.
The CPIC is an international consortium of experts who volunteer their efforts with the goal of “creating, curating, and posting freely available, peer-reviewed, evidence-based, updatable, and detailed gene/drug clinical practice guidelines.” All their guidelines are available to everyone at no cost at the links below. For the most up-to-date version of their guidelines, we recommend looking at the guidelines on their website rather than in the journal publications
The homepage for the CPIC website is https://cpicpgx.org
The main page that links to all their guidelines is available at https://cpicpgx.org/guidelines
CPIC guidelines most directly relevant to psychopharmacology
CPIC® Guideline for Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors and CYP2D6 and CYP2C19
CPIC® Guideline for Atomoxetine based on CYP2D6 genotype
