Blood or plasma donation and mental health

Question from a Member:  What is best clinical evidence to provide patients requesting medical approval for plasma donation? I have been denying these requests. First, due to protein-bound drugs that will be disrupted, and second, the donation centers ask for excessive details pertaining to the patient’s mental health information: diagnosis, treatments, all medications, safety profile….
