The Mindfulness Prescription for Adult ADHD: An 8-Step Program for Strengthening Attention, Managing Emotions, and Achieving Your Goals

By Lidia Zylowska, MD, and Daniel J. Siege,l MD

Reviewed by Rajnish Mago, MD:

Excellent book with very specific and practical guidance about how to practice various mindfulness-based meditations. The comments are directed at persons with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, BUT the practices are suitable for anyone. I don’t see any reason why this book is not highly suitable for anyone wanting to practice mindfulness meditation.

The book is written in a simple and clear style. It walks the reader through the exact steps of practicing meditation. The reader is encouraged to start with simple, brief practice and then progress gradually.
