Letter at the termination of treatment

Termination of treatment

It is important for emotional, clinical, and medicolegal reasons to carefully craft the letter that we send to our patients when circumstances make it necessary to end the treatment. Press the play button (triangle on the left) to listen to this brief audio (duration 5 minutes, 35 seconds)

These comments were made by me in an interview with Current Psychiatry in 2013.
